Part of a series Inspired by military friends coming home from deployment  after being in combat and learning to live with PTSD .  So many that can no longer be around fireworks as they are triggers   

The paintings are a series of fireworks with poppies. I wanted to give them a safe way to see fireworks again and to honour them and their service

A very dear friend is unable still to be near fireworks.  The explosion and flashes are triggers for him.  This series is inspired by him.
